What is batch tracking?

Hive can track the batches of your products.

• Batch tracking is, for example, relevant when your SKUs expire on certain dates.
• Hive records the Batch ID and the Expiry Date for the SKUs for which batch tracking is enabled.
  • The Batch ID and Expiry Date are put in when Hive restocks your products based on the information that is printed on your products.
• This also makes it possible to later trace to which customers a certain batch was sent.

When batch tracking is enabled for an SKU, Hive will record a Tracking ID and the Expiry date for the batch.

Setting up batch tracking

To have batch tracking enabled, please add the name and the Hive App link to all SKUs for which you want to enable batch tracking in the batch tracking tab of your Hive Set-Up Sheet.

<aside> 💡 If you want to enable batch tracking for a new SKU after your onboarding, please inform the Customer Support team through the Hive Hub. Please always include the links to the SKUs in the Hive App for which batch tracking needs to be enabled.
